Nishatpura police arrests 2 miscreants

Nishatpura police nabbed two miscreants from Sanjeev Nagar culvert on Friday and recovered a motorbike and valuables worth `1.20 lakh from their possession.

According to the police, acting on a tip off regarding a youth trying to sell grocery at very low rates a police team was rushed to the spot and based on the information the youth was searched and nabbed him.

The nabbed miscreant was identified as Ashu alias Atiullah and when he was searched grocery ( stolen from Pan shop) was recovered from his possession.

In the initial investigation Ashu confessed that he had burgled the goods from Kamla Nagar along with his aide Afzal Ali. The two have also stolen a bike from Gandhi Nagar area. Bike bearing registration number MP04QP6711 was recovered from their possession.

Based on the investigation Afzal was searched and nabbed and valuables were recovered from his possession. During the investigation police found that the accused is habitual drinker and for spending on liquor he used to burgle.

Meanwhile, Gunga police have nabbed three miscreants including two buyer and recovered 9 stolen batteries worth ` 1 lakh from their possession on Friday.

During vehicle checking police nabbed a man with battery and when he was asked regarding the battery he confessed stealing from a tractor at Undrai village.

The nabbed accused was identified as Arjun Yogi who revealed selling 3 batteries were sold to Anees Siddiqui and  3 to Salman Siddiqui.

Police have recovered 9 batteries from their possession and Anees and Salman were arrested.
