No effect of recession on U’khand: Minister

The senior cabinet minister and state government spokesperson Madan Kaushik has claimed that there is no effect of recession on Uttarakhand.  In response to a question regarding concern raised during the recent bankers meet, Kaushik said that the overall economy of the state is healthy. He said that the per capita income in Uttarakhand is increasing. The minister said that the state cabinet has held elaborate discussions on economic conditions of the state and the government has decided to keep focus on industries like tourism, agriculture and housing. He added that the state is receiving very good investment after it hosted the Investors summit last year.
