The computerisation of tribal development schemes will be reviewed State-wise through video-conferencing at the Mantralaya on October 11. The departmental functioning and all schemes of the Tribal Welfare Department are being computerized. Separate modules will soon be launched to make each scheme online. The state government has approved Rs 35 crore scheme for this work.
In order to take advantage of the tribal development schemes run by the Tribal Welfare Department, online registration of beneficiaries has been made mandatory. So far 8.25 lakh beneficiaries have registered. Beneficiaries can register for free by visiting any internet kiosk. With this, you can get information about schemes by logging in the website www.tribal.mp.gov.in or through the mobile app MPTAAS and one can apply to avail benefits also. Arrangement has been made to send information through SMS from time to time regarding the application status to the beneficiary under the scheme.
