One of the most popular Durga Puja Pandals of Boakro thermal city, organised by Panch Mandir Puja committee at Bokaro thermal was inaugurated jointly by Inspector cum Officer in Charge and DVC Dy GM on Saturday.
Pandal hoppers in large numbers took this opportunity to view the artwork in the pandal. The pandal visitors usually throng the Durga Puja venue from the day of Shaptmi Puja, but Panch Mandir puja committee is known for modeling one of the most attractive pandals in the city.
Finest craftsmanship model is depicted inside the puja pandal which would attract the visitors. Social activist Yogendra Giri, Hansraj Prasad, Krishna Murari, Saryu Thakur of puja committee were present during the inauguration function.
Full proof security is being maintained inside the pandal and nearby areas for which CCTV cameras have been installed along with barricading at important points. Committee members and volunteers will be present at every spot to avoid any untoward incident, said Local police Inspector cum Officer in-Charge Umesh Kumar Thakur.
This Puja Pandal is not only famous in Thermal city and Bokaro but also nearby localities. This is the reason this pandal attracts huge crowd. Apart from Bokaro thermal people from Bermo and entire coal city people visit this puja pandal.
