Senior poet Ashok Shah was felicitated with with Fakhre Khushboo" award on Saturday in an award ceremony. The event was held here on Sunday.

Nusrat Mehdi said that in the poems of Ashok Shah, the philosophy of Sufiana trend is found everywhere, like a Sufi, he seems to give the message of public welfare. The speaker and Urdu Adeeb Zia Farooqui said in his address that a good man can be a good poet or poet. Ashok Shah is a very naughty and idealistic human being. His poetry is one of the mirror of society in which modern man is living today.

A programme focused on the compositions of Ashok Shah organized by the Khushbu Educational and Cultural Society, Bhopal, headed by Padmashri Manzoor Ehtsham, was held in the auditorium of the State Museum 'Samvad' Rajesh Joshi (Senior Poet), Hyder Abbas Rizvi, (Senior Literary), Devi Saran (Senior Literatureist) Zia Farooqui (Senior Poet) etc. attended the programme as the chief guest and keynote speaker.

Nusrat Mehdi spoke on 'Poet Ashok Shah - An Introduction' and described the poems of Ashok Shah as Sufiana.

Senior poet Ashok Shah was awarded "Fakhre Khushboo Samman" by Society Khushboo. "Samvad" program was conducted in two parts, the first was based on respect and speech, the second part was done by the composition of senior Hindi Urdu authors, President of the organization Sajid Premi told that Rajesh Joshi, Ashok Shah, Zafar Sahabai, Iqbal Masood for the composition text. Zia Farooqui Prem Shankar Shukla, Nusrat Mehdi, Pankaj Subir, Badravasti, Aarti, Pragya Rawat, Shruti Kushwaha, Rushada Jamil have been invited. In the programme, the creators read their selected compositions.
