Kamla Nagar police have booked unidentified miscreants for attacking local Congress leader’s house with petrol bomb in Kamla Nagar area in the wee hours on Friday; victim’s Royal Enfield motorbike was also incident during the incident.
Police said that unidentified scooter-borne miscreants have thrown a petrol bomb at the house of local Congress leader in Kamla Nagar area.
According to SHO of Kamla Nagar Alok Shrivastava, the victim Kundan Punjabi lives in Shabri Nagar and is Congressman and in his complaint he stated at around 3.30 am on a scooter borne youth hurled a petrol pump which hit on the steel roof laid over the porch at the main gate and escaped the spot.
The petrol pump failed to explode which averted a major incident. In the incident no one was injured and no casualty was reported. During the investigation police found that the around 10 days ago unidentified miscreant had thrown petrol bomb at victim’s house after which complaint was made but police failed to pay heed and second attack forced the police to take action and register case against the accused.
