The Regional Museum of Natural History, Bhopal and Madhya Pradesh Tiger Foundation Society, Bhopal jointly organised a Poster Making Competition on the occasion of International Earth Day on April 22.
This competition was organised in two categories- School and Open.
Students from class 8 to 10 participated in School Category and all age group participated in Open Category. The theme of the school category was “Protect our species” and the theme of Open category were are “Save nature & nature will protect you”, “Conservation of migratory birds for India”, “Save wildlife for better future” and “Little known but important species”.
A total of 98 students of class 8 to 10 from Sharda Vidya Mandir, Bhopal; MSB Educational Institute, Bhopal, Army Public School, Bhopal, IES Public School, Bhopal, Hema Higher Secondary School, Bhopal; Sardar Patel Public School, Misrod, Bhopal, DPSC, Sihore; Govt Subhash
Excellence School, Bhopal, Arvind School, Bhopal; Bal Bhawan School, Bhopal; Kendriya Vidhyalaya No.-2, Sagar Public School, Bhopal; Carmel Convent School, Bhopal, St Joseph Co-ed, Arera Colony, Bhopal, St Xevior Co-ed School, Bhopal, Pragya School, Kolar Road, Bhopal and Umang Welfare Society, Bhopal participated in School Category and 81 participants participated in Open Category.
Participation certificates were provided to participants on the same day after the competition and prizes will be distributed on forthcoming World Environment Day- 2019.

Singh, Deputy Forest Conservator, Forest Department, Madhya Pradesh and Jayesh from Madhya Pradesh Tiger Foundation Society, Bhopal were present.
Sushil Kumar Chourey, Stenographer-II (Hindi) was the Coordinator of the programme.
