Pritam appoints district in-charges of Uttarakhand

In a bid to rejuvenate the State unit of Congress party, the Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) President Pritam Singh appointed district in- charges of the party on Friday. The Vice President of the state Congress, Surya Kant Dhasmana said that these appointments were made by the PCC President to streamline the party activities and to make the party more active at block and booth levels.

He said that former MLA Rajkumar has been appointed in charge of Uttarakashi. Similarly Media coordinator Dhirendra Pratap would be in charge for  Yamunotri, former cabinet minister Rajendra Singh Bhandari for Tehri, Ganesh Godiyal for Narendra Nagar, Yaqub Siddique for Pauri and Vijay Pal Singh Sajwan for Rudraprayag. Former MLA Vikram Singh Negi and Rajendra Shah would oversee Chamoli, former MLA Ranjit Rawat and Sanjay Paliwal for Udham Singh Nagar, former Minister Dinesh Agarwal for Haridwar and former MP Mahendra Pal would be in charge of Roorkee.

Similarly former MLA Ram Yash Singh would be in-charge for Pachwa Dehradun west, former Minister Tilak Raj Behed for Dehradun city and Parwa Doon, Vice President Surya Kant Dhasmana for Kotdwar, Vijay Saraswat and Harish Paneru for Nainital, Former President of Youth Congress Bhuwan Kapri for Almora, former MLA Madan Singh Bisht for Pithoragarh, Mohan Singh Rawat for Didihat, former MLA Lalit Pharswan for Champawat, Khushal Singh Adhikari for Bageshwar and Hemesh Kharkwal for Ranikhet.
