The Berry Developers and Infrastructure (BDI) Private Limited on Tuesday handed over the keys of the home to the family of CRPF Constable Rohitash Lamba, a Pulwama martyr who hailed from Rajasthan.
BDI under the umbrella of CREDAI has come up with the proposal to handover homes to the martyrs’ families. The Group took it a step ahead by allocating one 2 BHK property in its BDI Ananda project located in Bhiwadi. The keys will be handed over to Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) officials who will present the keys to the 40 families of martyrs,” said a spokesperson of BDI.
“This is the group’s tribute to the ultimate sacrifice of Rohitash and his battalion members who were killed in a terrorist attack in Pulwama, Jammu and Kashmir,” said Sumit Berry, Managing Director of BDI Group.
Announcing the decision he said, “Millitary and Para-Millitary forces lay down their lives while serving the country and it is the least that we can do towards showing our gratitude to the selfless service. Pulwama attack came as a shock to the nation and being part of the real estate fraternity, we have decided to do our bit.”
Rohitash Lamba belonged to Govinpura village in Amarsar area of Jaipur (Rajasthan). Lamba was 27-year-old when he lost his life in the attack. He had joined the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) at the age of 25. He was married just a year ago and had a 2-month-old daughter whom he couldn’t even meet once.
