Congress President Rahul Gandhi will be visiting to Bastar on Saturday and he is scheduled to return back tribals land which was acquired by the previous BJP government for allowing a private steel maker to set up an integrated steel plant.
Gandhi would also lay a foundation stone for a food-park in Kondagaon.
The Congress chief would reach Jagdalpur by a chartered plane at 1.00 p.m. on Saturday. He would then proceed to Dhuragaon where land titles of acquired land for Tata Steel Plant would be returned back to farmers. He will also commence the distribution of forest right letters to the residents of forest areas of the region.
Gandhi will also distribute loan waiver certificates to the farmers. Notably, he had held a similar programme in Naya Raipur recently.
