Delhi may witness rain in coming week as Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) predicted moderate rain and thunderstorm activities from Sunday onwards. According to Met, on August 29th and 30th August, Delhi will witness heavy rain.
Meanwhile on Saturday, Delhiites experienced a humid day with light rainfall in some parts of the national capital, officials said.The maximum temperature settled at 33.9 degrees Celsius and the minimum was recorded at 28 degrees Celsius, a meteorological department official said.
The Palam observatory recorded 1.8 mm rainfall, they said. Humidity levels oscillated between 80 and 76 per cent.
The weatherman has predicted cloudy sky for Sunday with the possibility of light rain and thundershowers.
Maximum temperature is expected to be around 32 degrees Celsius and the minimum 27 degrees Celsius, he said.
