Senior engineers working with multinational firms across the globe will judge events during Hack-A-BIT 2019 being organised at BIT, Mesra between October 18 and 20. One of the biggest student hackathons in India, HACK-A-BIT 2019 is presented by Times Internet and supported by Technical Education Quality Improvement Programme (TEQIP).
It is being organized by the Institution of Electrical and Electronics (IEEE) Student Branch, Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), BIT Mesra and Association of Computing Machinery (ACM), BIT Mesra.
One of the most elite and diverse judging panel in a student Hackathon includes Mayank Garg, who practices as a Data Science Strategist and Consultant at Google. He is also a renowned ML speaker and facilitator around the world. Another judge during the event is Nimesh Ghelani, who is an ML engineer at Bloomberg LP.
His expertise lies in the field of machine learning and information retrieval systems and LINUX. He has published several publications on information retrieval systems, including ACM SIGR 2018.
Another judge is Aaquib Reza Khan, an engineer at Qualcomm, who has worked extensively with embedded systems, PCB designing, microprocessors, digital electronics, digital signal processing. Kaustabh Karkare is another judge, who is a full stack developer and a senior software engineer at Facebook.
He has worked at People Insights and Engineering Team. His expertise has helped build internal tools for recruiters and HR Mentored Bootcamps, Interns and Junior Engineers.
