Sloganeering against Faridabad MP in ‘Vijay Sankalp rally’

Monday, 25 March 2019 | PNS | Chandigarh

In a major embarrassment to the BJP, the party workers present during its much-hyped ‘Vijay Sankalp rally’ at Pirthala in Faridabad shouted slogans against Union Minister and MP Krishan Pal Gurjar on Sunday.

The sloganeering which lasted for several minutes against the Faridabad MP took place in the presence of Kalraj Mishra, party’s incharge in Haryana for Lok Sabha poll. MP Krishan Pal Gurjar, BJP MLAs Mool Chand Sharma and Seema Trikha among other party leaders were also present at the rally.

Upset with the sloganeering, former Union Minister Kalraj Mishra, who is MP from Deoria constituency in Uttar Pradesh, warned the party workers gathered there.

Mishra, while addressing the rally, said, “This behavior is not acceptable. I felt bad. If I was in my state, I would have shot down such people.”

“This is not a way to express your resentment. Think about the country… You should think about the nation and our leader Narendra Modi,” he told the party workers.

The party workers gathered at the rally had shouted slogans against MP Krishan Pal Gurjar and demanded that party ticket should not be given to him this time.

While speaking at the rally, Mishra also charged the opposition of playing with the sovereignty of the country and giving fodder to Pakistan to up its ante against India following nation’s retaliatory action in the wake of Pulwama attack on a CRPF convoy.

He said that due to opposition’s anti-national stand, the Pakistan Government and the media in the neighbouring country are highlighting the utterances of the opposition.

“Instead of standing with the country in its fight against terrorism, to the shock of most countrymen, the opposition led by Congress was demanding proof regarding the action taken by IAF in Balakote area of Pakistan,” he said adding that the Prime Minister instead gave the defence forces a free hand to take action in the wake of Pulwama attack on CRPF convoy.

The senior BJP leader added that we have to resolve to ensure the victory of the BJP in the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections to ensure that Narendar

Modi remains the Prime Minister of the country for the safety and security of all.
