For the second time State capital reached 45.9 degree Celsius in the season which is highest of the season and equals highest day temperature recorded 40 years ago.
State capital recorded night temperature at 30.9 degree Celsius which reached over 31 degree Celsius two days ago. Under the changing weather conditions rainfall was witnessed at two places which recorded good amount of rainfall. Bhainsadehi recorded 3 cm and Chincholi recorded 1 cm of rainfall.
Highest day temperature was recoded at 47 degree Celsius in Khargone and witnessed intense hot wave conditions in the past 24 hours. Among the major cities Gwalior recorded 47.3 degree Celsius. Weather conditions are likely to provide relief within next 5-6 days.
Thundery activities and light rainfall has been witnessed at few places Hoshangabad and Jabalpur divisions in the past 24 hours.
The day temperature in the state has increased sharply and reached to 47 degree Celsius while night temperature increased to 32.5 degree Celsius. The night temperature have dipped little providing relief from the extreme weather condition.
