Violation of traffic rules proved fatal for a person in Patelnagar area of Dehradun on Wednesday. The deceased has been identified as Naveen Kumar Jain, resident of Mandi Bazaar.
According to the information provided by the police, a scooty and a motorbike collided near Chaman Vihar, in which the scooty rider got seriously injured. He was taken to the nearest hospital, where during treatment he succumbed to his injuries. According to the eye witnesses, the deceased was crossing the road from the wrong side near Chaman Vihar gate when he collided with a motorbike coming towards his direction. After the post-mortem procedure the body has been released into the custody of the guardians.
