Uma takes potshots at Naveen

Friday, 19 April 2019 | PNS | CUTTACK

Senior BJP leader Uma Bharti on Thursday took potshots at Chief Minister and BJD supremo Naveen Patnaik, saying as long as he would remain CM, the State would not make any progress.

“Naveen Patnaik is himself a very retrograde person and will keep the people of the State retrograded too,” said she alleging ribing how she once failed in convincing Patnaik about the benefits of linking Mahanadi and Godavari rivers.

Bharti said she often feels that Patnaik is like a Mummy of Egypt brought here and made the CM.

Bharti was campaigning here for the BJP candidates, speaking at a meeting at Mahanadi Vihar.
