Preliminary examination for Civil Services Examination-2019 organised by the Union Public Service Commission will be held on June 2 in two sessions.
The first session will be held from 9.30 AM to 11.30 AM and second session from 2.30 PM to 4.30 PM.
Raipur will have 31 examination centres where 12,728 candidates have registered for the examination.
Examination observer and Raipur division Commissioner G. R. Churendra reviewed the preparation with all the centre heads. Commissioner directed all the examination centre heads to ensure adequate cleaning, toilet, fan, furniture, light and generator facilities along with potable and cold water.
Churendra said candidates can download their admit card from the UPSC website and take a print out. They should come along with original identity card to sit for the exam.
The candidate can only use black ballpoint pen. The entry time for candidate is 9.10 AM to 9.20 AM for the first session and for the second session it is 2.10 PM to 2.20 PM.
The cell phones, electronic gadgets, Bluetooth devices, slip, copy, books along with other materials are not allowed inside the centres. Candidates will have to undergo checking before entering into the examination centre and banned materials will be kept in separate room.
A control room has been made at the district collectorate.
