XLRI holds 17th Graduation Ceremony of Executive Plans

Xavier School of Management (XLRI) organised the 17th graduation ceremony for students of its executive programmes on Sunday.

Delivering the Graduation Address, Ramji Ganesh, head of operations, State Street Syntel Services Pvt. Ltd. (Atos Syntel), shared key leadership insights from his illustrious career. Being an alumnus of XLRI and a gold medalist himself, he connected instantly with the students and provided them with valuable advice on how to build a successful career in the modern corporate landscape.

 On this significant day, 500 students of XLRI’s VIL and various Executive Programmes including 407 students from 5 batches of the Virtual Interactive Learning (VIL) Programmes (174 students of Postgraduate Certificate in Business Management – PGCBM batches 32 and 33, 198 students of Postgraduate Certificate in Human Resource Management – PGCHRM batches 24 and 25, and 35 students of the 1st batch of Postgraduate Certificate in Business Analytics – PGCBAMD); 43 students of Executive Diploma in Human Resource Management Programme (EDHRM - Batch 2018-19); 30 students of Postgraduate Certificate in HRM (PGCHRM - Batch 2017-18) and 20 students of Postgraduate Certificate in General Management- Mumbai (PGCGM - Batch 2017-18) received their graduating certificates and medals.

Like every year, top ranking students of the VIL Programme were awarded XLRI Medals for Academic Excellence sponsored by VIL technical partner Unified Collaboration Services (UCS).

This year, Sudeshna Ganguly (PGCBM-32), Mohan Shanmuga Sundaram (PGCBM-33), Babita P Sangras (PGCHRM-24), S Kartik (PGCHRM-25) and Rajiv Kumar Vishwakarma (PGCBAMD-1) received gold medals for academic excellence in their respective batches. The medals were presented by Dr. Ashis K. Pani, dean – academics, XLRI. Kanwar Pravir Singh (EDHRM), Moksha Sharma (PGCHRM) and Chandan Rastogi (PGCGM - Mumbai) also received Gold Medals at the event for securing the highest CQPI.

Fr. Jerome Cutinha, S.J., dean – Administration & Finance, XLRI congratulated the graduating students and urged them to uphold the institute’s values of excellence and integrity in their professional and personal lives. He added that XLRI graduates should aim to be model professionals who also serve their communities and society.

Other dignitaries present at the event were Dr. Ashis K. Pani (Dean – Academics, XLRI), Dr. Santosh Sangem (Associate Dean, VIL Programmes, XLRI), Fr. Francis M Peter, S.J. (Coordinator, Centre for Res & Trg in Educational Leadership - XLRI), Dr. Manoj Thomas (Associate Dean, Corporate Programs – XLRI) and more.
