Time to nail this art

Are you a discerning customer and wouldn’t mind paying for services that one may not find anywhere in Delhi-NCR? If the answer is yes, then head to The Mani Pedi Spa in Gurugram — the first nail salon which recently opened its second outlet near Galleria Market with 1,800 sq ft state-of-the art facility.

The reason why a Delhi resident should visit this spa is because they are a ‘one of a kind’ beauty service business. Mahema Bhardwaj, Managing Director of The Mani Pedi Spa tells you that the reason why she started this spa was because she couldn’t find the service she wanted.

Bhardwaj says that the second outlet is the result of an overwhelming response from their customers at our first outlet.

“Our vision is to provide our clients with never been experienced services in the mani-pedi industry here in India. Our approach towards providing these services is different from what is prevalent in the market. Everything from our ambience to placement of stations, selection and training cum certification of a female driven staff, use of top-of the line products sourced internationally and utmost focus on hygiene sets us apart from others,” Bhardwaj tells you.

“Many salons have men. Some women find it uncomfortable. Also, I was not sure about the instruments and whether they were being properly sterlised. We use disposable where possible, rest are put in a sterliser. The products used are complete safe. One can even eat with one’s hands and not worry about any chemicals going in the body ensuring hygiene levels that at par with US safety standards. Our staff is regularly trained in the latest techniques used internationally,” Bhardwaj says.

The products make a huge difference as one of the therapist gets working on the feet. After the basic cleaning (they use disposable instruments) an egg mask put on the feet and then wrapped in cling foil (for 10 minutes leaves) the feet soft. A gel nail polish completes treatment.

Nail spa is just as thorough. The therapist cleans and buffs away. Don’t worry if you don’t have natural nails. The spa uses plastic nails by CND Shellac, a US-based company. If plastic is a no-no for you, go for foam based nails. They are just as sturdy and perfectly safe. That done, one has the option of normal nail paint (OPI nail collection with lacquered finish). One can choose from over 250 nail paints. One can even go for nail art. if you don’t know what design to choose the therapist will step in to help. The spa offers many designs. One can even give the therapist your own design.

Bhardwaj plans  to open 10 more outlets in India and create a preference for this new concept of spas. Will Delhi be first in line? Hopefully, yes.
