Raveena helps martyrs’ children

Actress Raveena Tandon says that her foundation will look into the education of martyrs’ children.

As per reports, Raveena, who is known for her philanthropic work and her association with various noble causes, is already committed to the education of the girl child and provides scholarships for the same. But she is now taking charge of children of all martryrs.

Talking about it, she said: “These are moments when everyone should come forward and contribute whatever it might be — whether it’s a big or small amount. It goes a long way and I have taken over the responsibility of educating the girl children. I am not limiting it to just them but the children of the martyrs. It’s not only of the Pulwama attack, it is basically for all our jawans.”

‘What can one do if they (industry) reach out to me asking for blessings? These are youngsters who have worked with me in the past. Should I have told them they don’t have my blessings? The proper thing to do would have been to first for ask my consent before remixing Mungda.’

Actor Boman Irani will be essaying the role of business tycoon Ratan Tata in the forthcoming film PM Narendra Modi. “I have always received comments on social media that I resemble Ratan Tata. I always thought the day the character comes along, I will be more than happy to play it,” Boman said. “So when Omung, Sandip and Vivek called me for the role, I immediately agreed to do it. The team is quite wonderful and Omung is doing a great job. We have already shot my part and it went very well,” he added.
