‘Never thought SOTY sequel will happen’
Actor Varun Dhawan, who made her Hindi film debut with Student of The Year, said he never thought that sequel of his romantic-comedy drama film will happen so soon.
Varun said, “I think Tiger (Shroff), Ananya (Panday) and Tara (Sutaria) are looking superb in the film. Alia, Sid and I are equally proud and happy about it. We never thought that there will be a sequel of our film and that too really soon. People still call us 'student' and I don't think that tag will go away from us and we never know in Student of The Year 3 we might go back to school.”
‘Rapport with my co-actor makes a huge difference to my performance. It brings so much to the scene when you know the co-actor is giving you the room to improve your performance. When you share a chemistry and a certain warmth with your actor, the scene comes out to be way more organic.’

Actress Gauahar Khan says hosting a live game show on a digital platform is challenging.
The actress is seen hosting one titled Knock Knock at 2 pm for a travel app.
Gauahar said, “The pressure is different when you are doing a live show. There's no scope for mistakes. People need to get hooked on to it at that very second and should stay with us for 30 minutes. Your energy has to be bang on and language has to be absolutely proper and you cannot fumble as there are no retakes. So yes, it's challenging. It is a very unique and interesting concept that I got really hooked on to. Also, it's something that I haven't attempted before.”
Linda loves a complex hero
Actress Linda Cardellini, who plays the role of the mother who goes up against La Llorana in The Curse of the Weeping Woman, says she couldn't resist the complex hero at the heart of the horror film.
That's the reason she said yes to the project.
“When I read the script, I loved that it was not about being someone's wife or being someone's sister. It's really about this woman who is fighting the odds to keep her family together, and the lengths she's willing to go to protect her children,” Cardellini said.
