‘Everybody deserves a second chance’

Actress Malaika Arora says everybody deserves a second chance in love, and that people should deal with that fact with an open mind.

The Bollywood dancing star kept her relationship with the much-younger actor Arjun Kapoor under wraps for long, before the duo gradually opened up.

“In India, for a woman to take a second chance in love is still a taboo,” she said and added, “A little more sensitivity is needed, as opposed to being harsh and callous and negative towards things. It is important to be inclusive. When I talk of second chances, I'm thinking of making the most of second chances. I think everybody should be given a second chance.”

‘It all starts with one man — Remo (D'Souza) sir, our Captain. The flag bearer of bringing dance films to India. Thank you sir for Street Dancer 3D and for paving the way for so many dancers all around our country to believe in their dreams.’

 —Shraddha Kapoor

After giving a glimpse of their chemistry on social media, star couple Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput are adding a touch of glamour in the world of fashion.

With the Vogue Wedding Show returning with its seventh edition, Shahid and Mira have been named as the cover stars of the Vogue Wedding Book.

The 'by invitation only' wedding exhibition will be held from August 2-4 in the city.

Ace designers like Manish Malhotra, Sabyasachi Mukherjee, Tarun Tahiliani, Anita Dongre, Shantanu and Nikhil, Gaurav Gupta, Rahul Mishra, Ritu Kumar and Shyamal and Bhumika are participating in the exhibition.

‘Love growing with each role’

Actress Naomi Watts is careful how she chooses her roles. She likes to find something for herself in every character she plays. She  says, with each of her projects she has looked to stretch herself and grow as an artist.

Watts says, “Every time I take on a role, I'm looking to find something in it for me. If the role doesn't connect with me, how could it connect with an audience?”

Watts’ latest avatar sees her essaying the life of journalist Gretchen Carlson in the limited series, The Loudest Voice, which dramatises the rise and fall of Carlson's former boss, Fox News creator Roger Ailes, essayed by Russell Crowe. She finds the story of Carlson mind-blowingly uplifting.
