Union Home Minister Amit Shah was on Thursday discharged from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS). Earlier in the day, Shah attended the inauguration of a water work scheme under smart city programme for his Gandhinagar constituency through video conferencing from the Hospital. He also spoke for more than 10 minutes.
Shah was admitted in the hospital on Saturday night following breathing trouble. The AIIMS bulletin said that Shah was admitted for a “complete medical checkup before the Parliament Session for 1-2 days.” On August 2, he was admitted to Medanta Hospital for Covid-19 treatment and discharged on August 13. But on August 17, he was admitted to AIIMs following post Covid-19 ailments and discharged on August 30.
The Home Minister is expected to attend the Parliament Session in the coming days.
