No shortage of corona preventive drugs in Aligarh, says dist admin

Corona preventive medicine ivermectin has no shortage in the district. The drug inspector denied the rumors of a shortage of medicine in the market, saying that some black marketers are trying to make profits by spreading such rumors.

Drug dealers have been alerted regarding these. Along with this, an inspection was also done about the availability of zinc along with Cefzim, Doxycycline, Azithromycin, Vitamin C, and Multi-Vitamins, and no shortage was reported.

During the Corona period, it has been found that people are buying medicines directly from the medical store without consulting the doctors for cough, fever, and cold. In this regard, instructions have been given to all medical stores for not given medicines to such patients. They should first consult the doctors for the treatment. If there is any type of complaint related to black marketing of the drug, then immediately contact on 7668643582 to complain.

Demand of ivermectin drug rises after the government approval

Ivermectin medicine has been declared by the government as effective in protecting against corona. Since then, its demand in the district has increased. Recently, CMO BP Singh Kalyani also made people aware of its consumption. According to the CMO, take 12 mg tablets of Ivermectin from 12 years to the elderly on the first day, then the seventh, and then the 30th day. After this, he should consume this medicine every 30 days until he becomes healthy. Children between 5 and 12 years old are also advised to take 6 mg tablets of ivermectin similarly. While people who have come in direct contact with infected patients should take one tablet for three consecutive days. Children under 5 years of age, pregnant women, and lactating women are advised not to take this medicine.
