nAam Aadmi Party has appointed former MLA Sarita Singh as in-charge of the Delhi women's wing to ensure increased women's participation in the upcoming Delhi Municipal elections. Sarita Singh has been associated with the party since the time of AAP's Jan Lokpal movement.
On being appointed as the in-charge of the Delhi women's wing, Sarita Singh said, "I wholeheartedly thank Chief Minister and AAP national convener Arvind Kejriwal for entrusting me with the responsibility of handling the party's women wing.
