A man of Soro who had taken help of a sorcerer to get rid of cold-related ailments was detected Covid positive.
The man of Kamarpur village working in Mumbai recently had returned to his home. After returning, when he experienced cold ailments, the family members suspecting that he was afflicted by some bad spirit took help of a sorcerer in their area.
While the sorcerer was doing the procedure to remove the evil spirit of the man, the villagers after learning such activities protested and insisted him to go to the TMC and get his swab tested. They also informed the elected representatives of the village.
During isolation in the TMC at Soro, his swab was collected and during the test, it was found positive. The affected was sent to the Covid hospital for treatment.
What is interesting is that after detection of a virus in his client, the sorcerer in abject fear is running here and there to get him tested, informed local sources.
