Two bike-borne men snatched the gold chain of a woman in south Delhi’s Greater Kailash area on Thursday afternoon.
According to a senior police official, the incident took place around 1.30 pm on Thursday which was captured in a CCTV camera placed near the spot.
A video of the incident also went viral on social media. In the video, two women are going on a road. Meanwhile, two men come on a bike and try to snatch the gold chain of a woman.
However, the woman resists, following which the pillion rider gets down of the vehicle and snatches her chain forcefully. Another woman along with the victim runs to a couple of meters from the spot and stops there.
“A case has been registered under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) at Greater Kailash police station and investigation is underway to nab the accused persons," said police
