With rising number of crimes reported across Chhattisgarh, BJP state President Vishnudeo Sai on Thursday blamed the Congress government for what he said was the deteriorating law and order situation.
Sai said in a statement that if the government does not consider all kinds of crime incidents in the state as a law and order problem, then the Home Minister lacks a deep understanding of administrative functioning. Citing incidents in Raipur, he pointed to abduction, attack on vehicle showroom, thefts, drug supply and rapes, also in different parts of state.
Sai said it seemed there was political protection for those involved in crime ever since the Congress government came to power in the state.
