ECR holds webinar on vigilance awareness

Vigilance Awareness Week -2020 is being celebrated from 27 October to 02 November this year under the aegis of East Central Railway. On this occasion, a Vigilance webinar was organized by Deendayal Upadhyay Division on 29.10.2020 under the direction of Senior Deputy General Manager / ECR / Hajipur with the theme "Vigilant Bharat Samruddhi Bharat".

 

Vigilance Awareness Week at Central Bank

Vigilance Awareness Week was inaugurated at Central Bank of India Ranchi region. On this occasion, staff members at Regional Office, Ranchi and all branches of the region took pledge of truthfulness and Integrity. During the week-long vigilance awareness week, various programs will be organized to make all staff members and customers aware. On this occasion Satish Kumar, Chief Manager, Sanjit Kumar, Vigilance Officer, Suvir Kumar, Chief Manager, Avinash Kumar, Chief Manager, Vijay Kumar Verma Chief Manager along with other staff members also attended the programme.

 

Congress pays tributes to Kartik Oraon

On the birth anniversary of former Union Minister Karthik Oraon, who strengthened the Congress organization in Jharkhand, he was paid warm tributes at the State Congress Bhavan in Ranchi today. State President cum State Finance and Food Supplies Minister Dr. Rameshwar Oraon, who was present as the chief guest at the Karthik Oraon Jayanti function organized by Jharkhand Pradesh Professional Congress Committee, inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp and paying floral tribute to his portrait. The function was presided over by the President of the State Professional Congress Committee, Aditya Vikram Jaiswal, while State Congress Committee spokesperson Alok Kumar Dubey, Lal Kishore Nath Shahdev, Dr. Rajesh Gupta Chhotu were present as distinguished guests.

 

CMDIL holds workshop

During Vigilance Awareness Week 2020, Vigilance Department, CMPDIL organized a workshop on “Conduct, Discipline and Appeal Rules (CDA Rules) and Certified Standing Order (CSO)”. The workshop was conducted online by SK Thakur, CM (Personnel), CMPDI. Executives of E1 to E6 Grade from HQ and Regional Institutes participated in this webinar. The webinar was conducted in association with HRD Department of CMPDIL. Pushkar, GM (Vigilance), Alok Kumar, GM (HRD) and B. Srinivasu played an important role in successful completion of this Webinar. In the Afternoon session, an Essay Competition for the Executives of CMPDIL HQ and Regional Institute –III was organized at Koel Hall, STC, CMPDIL.

 

World Stoke Day

On the occasion of World Stroke Day Dr Maya of Paras HEC Hospital, Ranchi has said that by controlling diabetes, cholesterol, and blood pressure and avoiding use of alcohol and tobacco one can remain safe from the perils of stroke. She asked people to include regular exercise in their routine and do regular checkup of Blood Pressure and sugar level. She said that if a patient is hospitalized within three hours (Golden Hours) of stroke then there are greater chances of the recovery of the patient. Explaining various facets of stroke the Doctor said that if a person feels weakness in parts of body then he/she should consult a doctor immediately.

 

BoB observed Vigilance Awareness Week

Following the instruction of the Central Vigilance Commission on Thursday Bank of Baroda (BOB), Ranchi Circle observing Vigilance Awareness Week from October 27 to November, 3. On this occasion messages of the President of India, Vice President of India and the Prime Minister were shared. Vigilance Awareness week celebrates the week in which Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel's birth anniversary falls. BoB, Regional Manager, Manoj Kumar solemnised

 

CMPDIL to open earth science museum

On the occasion of CIL Foundation Day-2019, CMPDI Management has decided to open its Earth Science Museum for Common Public as well as for school students (with social distancing) on 01 November to 30 November from 10 AM to 1 PM (excluding holidays on 16, 20 & 30 November as well as Saturdays & Sundays). This Museum is having unique and exceptional models and sculptures related to origin of earth, human evolution, coal mining methods, etc. Information pertaining to the coal resources and reserves in the country can also be visualized in the museum. Also, specimen of different minerals, rock and precious materials can also be visualized in the museum, which is alluring and informative. Other than this, models of different coal extraction methods, coal sampling and coal washing technique working models can also be seen.

 

Street play under vigilance awareness week

Under the special vigilance week being observed from October 27 to November 2 by the Indian Railways, street plays at Ranchi, Muri and Hatia stations of Ranchi Railway Division was organised by the cultural department and India Scout and Guard on October 28 for passengers and employees. Sudip Mandal from Indian Scout and Guard and Madhavi from the cultural department specially contributed in making the programme a success.

 

Pledge under National Unity Day

On National Unity Day which is observed on October 31 on the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Piyush Goyal Minister of Railways and Minister of Commerce and Industry administered an oath through video conferencing to the officers and employees of the Indian Railway Division on October 29. “I pledge sincerely that I will dedicate myself to uphold the unity, integrity and security of the nation and will do my best to spread the message. I am taking this oath in the spirit of unity of our country, which was made possible by the vision and actions of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. I also pledge to make my contribution to ensure the internal security of our country,” stated the oath. From Ranchi Division, DRM Neeraj Ambastha, Additional Railway Divisional Manager (Infra) Ajit Singh Yadav, Additional Divisional Railway Manager (Operations) Madan Mohan Pandit and others took the oath.

In Palamu for drug peddling

Town police remanded three people including a bachelor of engineering in making and a girl along with a drug addict and peddler in judicial remand today and recovered 8 small packets of the white substance believed to be a brown sugar and more than 90,000 rupees in cash from the house of the drug lady Shanti Devi in the town said SDPO Sandip Kumar Gupta on Thursday.

The engineer in making drug addict and peddler helped police to take the lid off the drug network. A less than a gram of the white substance costs Rs 500, which a drug addict spends and buys it too to sell it at further higher price to compensate his own expenditures on the drugs.
