Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed officials to make all arrangements regarding Covid vaccine in an organised and time-bound manner, saying that the whole exercise should be undertaken with inter-departmental coordination.

“All logistics should be in place in time,” he said.

Addressing a high-level Unlock review meeting at his official residence here on Monday, Yogi directed officials to ensure cold-chain arrangements for vaccination in all the districts by December 15 in order to enhance the efficacy of the vaccine.

He also asked the officials to ensure adequate availability of vaccinators in view of the large population of the state.

Directing officials to carry out Covid testing to the full capacity, the chief minister said that mass awareness about Covid protection should be continued.

The chief minister asked the chief secretary and the CM Office to verify the presence of district magistrates and district police chiefs in their offices by calling them on landline numbers and on their CUG mobile numbers.

The chief minister further directed officials to launch a drive against the illegal liquor mafia. He said the property of such elements should be attached and put to auction and the money recovered from auction should be used to compensate the victims of illegal liquor or hooch.
