The CM said that considering the care being taken in the state to control Covid, it is hoped that soon the situation will be under control in the state. The recovery rate of patients in the state has improved to 65 per cent while the doubling rate has also increased to 25 days, he added.

According to officials, those staying at the Covid care centre will be provided a free kit of essential items. Meals will be served thrice a day in which priority will be accorded to local produce.

The AYUSH dept will also provide Ayurvedic potion to boost immunity. Arrangements for staying have been made on four floors at the stadium with 750 beds and 38 wards. Along with medical care, Yoga and meditation have also been arranged here. An expert will deliver an online yoga and meditation class in the morning for which an LED screen has been placed. Family wards have been made separately and various options have been provided for recreation. Rawat said that an attempt has been made to provide hi-tech facilities at this centre.
