CM Yogi: Take caution at every level in Unlock 3.0

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has asked officials to implement state government directives strictly in line with Unlock-3 guidelines issued by the Centre and allow permitted activities outside the containment zones.

Presiding over an Unlock 3.0 review meeting at his official residence here on Friday, Yogi said that a cautious approach was required at every level to break the coronavirus chain.

“For this, mass awareness campaign should continue for common people on wearing masks and maintaining social distancing. Besides, more and more people should be encouraged to download Aarogya Setu App and Ayush Kavach Covid App in their phones,” he said.

Expressing satisfaction over achieving the target of 1.15 lakh COVID-19 tests per day, the chief minister said that door-to-door survey and contact tracing should be done with a sense of urgency. He said that coronavirus positive persons should be admitted to hospitals.

“Unlock rules should be implemented stringently in containment zones while arrangement of essentials should be ensured for the convenience of residents there,” he said.

Instructing that special secretary-level officer from Medical Education department be posted in Integrated Command and Control Centre in Lucknow, the chief minister said that it would help in increasing the efficiency of ICCC.

He also asked officials to use CSR (corporate social responsibility) funds for additional ambulances and to deploy trained personnel in the ambulances.

Yogi also directed officials to provide all possible help in flood-hit areas and ensure relief material, medical facilities to the affected. He also stressed on proper arrangement of fodder and additional number of boats as per requirement.

“Ensure availability of green fodder in cow shelters and pay attention to cleanliness and health of cattle. Veterinary doctors should inspect cow shelters regularly,” the chief minister said, particularly mentioning Sant Kabir Nagar district.
