In an attempt to intensify its protest against the farm Bills brought by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Government in the Center Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee (JPCC) will launch a series of programmes to be organised across the State from Saturday.
JPCC Chief, Rameshwar Oraon, said that the party will start its agitation in an aggressive manner throughout the State against the draconian law which passed by the Government to enslave peasants of the country.
The party will inform the masses about the “anti-farmer Bill” through a press conference on September 26, which will be addressed by the senior party leaders and officials in all the districts of the state.
JPCC State Spokesperson Alok Kumar Dubey said that Oraon has appointed the presidents-executive presidents and supervisors of each of the districts for the press conferences.
Speaking on the issue JPCC Spokesperson Lal Kishorenath Shahdeo said that Oraon entrusted this responsibility to the party coordinators, spokespersons, media panelists and prominent Congressmen to supervise the work.
“The party supervisors for remote districts have left for the respective districts on Friday, while for other districts, party supervisors will reach their districts on Saturday,” he added.
He said the party observer will give detailed information about the “anti-people provision of the three agricultural bills forcibly passed” by the Central Government, while all the party MLAs, Ministers, former MLAs, former MPs and senior leaders-workers of Speak Up on September 26.
The party Spokespersons said that on September 28, a Raj Bhavan March would be carried out by the party. In this program, JPCC In-Charge RPN Singh, JPCC Chief Rameshwar Oraon, Congress Legislative Party Leader Alamgir Alam, Minister in the State Government, Banna Gupta and Badal, including other MLA-MP and senior leaders will march from the Moharabadi to Raj Bhavan.
