Mahila police station has booked a Congressman and owner of a petrol pump for molesting his 35-year-old niece at Salamatpur farmhouse.

The accused, identified as Aziz alias Tanki, is an active Congressman and has provided land on lease to his niece’s husband who does agriculture work on the land at Salamatpur. The accused had molested his niece four days ago 11 late in the night.

At the time of the incident ,the victim was with her husband at the farm and after accused was found molesting victim’s husband opposed but was threatened of life.

The victim returned home and later reported the incident with the Mahila thana and based on the complaint after the preliminary investigation a case molestation was registered.

The victim in her complaint stated that the accused is her uncle and her husband had taken land on lease which she had gone to visit and stayed in the night at it was too late to return and late in the night she was molested by her uncle.

On the other side accused claimed that he suffer from several diseases and never stay at night at other place than house and the complaint was lodged due to dispute with the victims over the rent of the leased land to them.

Meanwhile, Baghsewania police have booked a miscreant for molesting a 22-year-old girl at Surendra Palace in the night on Friday. The victim approached Baghsewania police and lodged a complaint against the accused who remained unidentified.

In her complaint the victim stated the accused passed lewd comment while she was passing near the building. The victim opposed after which the accused and victim started verbal spate and later escaped the spot.

Based on the complaint and after the preliminary investigation, the police registered a case under section 354 IPC and have started search for the accused.
