Deendayal Covid Care centre inaugurated

National vice-president of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Shyam Jaju and north mayor Jai Prakash inaugurated Deendayal Covid Care centre in Balakram Hospital on Thursday.

The facility is equipped with all medical facilities and has a capacity of 100 beds. Jaju said that there are many citizens in Delhi whose homes are very small; who cannot go in home isolation in case of infection for that North DMC has developed the facility of Deendayal Covid Care Center.

North mayor said that even in this phase of Corona transition, North Delhi Municipal Corporation (NMC) has worked day and night for the citizens despite the economic crisis.

“The NMC supported the Delhi government in every way but the Delhi government did not provide any kind of assistance to the corporation. The employees and officers of the corporation have worked to prevent the spread of corona infection by working on points of cleanliness, sanitization and social distancing,” he said.

Commissioner of North Delhi Municipal Corporation, Gyanesh Bharti said that the officers and employees of the corporation have worked day and night in every area to prevent the spread of coronavirus. He informed that the corporation has developed a 300-bed facility at its hospital Hindu Rao.

 “The corporation is working to provide facilities to the patients in home isolation. The corporation has done 37000 rapid antigen tests and lifting biomedical waste from different areas,” he said.
