Drone sprays disinfectant on quarantine DDA flats

North Delhi Municipal Corporation (NMC) on Friday sprayed disinfectant over quarantine centre at DDA flats, Narela using drone.

A senior NMC official said that more than 1000 Coronavirus suspected persons have been quarantined here. “The drone is used to cover wider area in shorter period to disinfect the surrounding without any human contact. All staff engaged in sanitisation work was provided with personal protection gears like masks, gloves and sanitisers as required,” he said.

The civic body on Monday had also sprayed disinfectant liquid over congested slums and unauthorised colonies in the Shakur Basti area of Keshavpuram zone.
