Finance Min visits policemen injured in encounter

Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee (JPCC) Chief, Rameshwar Oraon visited Medica Hospital on Saturday to meet the policemen who got injured in an encounter with naxalites in Lohardaga.

Oraon met the injured policemen on behalf of the State Government and praised their bravery and also applauded them for their courage.

Among those who met the injured were the State President along with JPCC Spokesperson Alok Kumar Dubey, Lal Kishore Nath Shahdeo, Rajesh Gupta, Senior Superintendent of Police, Surendra Nath Jha, City Superintendent of Police, Saurav .Oraon reached Ranchi leaving the Bermo election campaign in midway and met the two injured on behalf of the State Government in Chief Minister Hemant Soren's absence.

 He also inquired about the present condition of the policemen. He met Havaldar, Upendra Singh and Constable, Anjani Kumar Pandey. The policemen told the Minister that the Naxals had also suffered heavy losses in the encounter.

Talking to the media persons after meeting the soldiers, Oraon said that the condition of both the soldiers is good, the soldiers fought bravely, they harmed the Naxalites. The policemen also saved the lives of many, saved their weapons, did not lose courage, which resulted in their victory. There is no big loss of police, we have faith in our police and the soldiers, he added.

In response to a question, JPCC Chief attacked BJP and said that the party should write that whatever the mandate will come in any state, the Government will be made by the BJP so that the people of the Country and also the people of the world could know how the party is violating norms of democratic values.

In the context of the Bermo and Dumka elections, Oraon said that people had given mandate for the Grand Alliance for five years and the State Government would complete its tenure. He also said that the way the BJP is making personal allegations is not correct, and especially when our Prime Minister uses indecent words and unparliamentary words over the son and his father is quite condemnable.

Meanwhile, JPCC observed the birth anniversary of Iron Man Sardar Ballabh Bhai Patel and the death anniversary of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi at Congress Bhawan in Ranchi. The party's state Spokesperson Alok Kumar Dubey, Lal Kishore Nath Shahdev, Rajesh Gupta, Niranjan Paswan, Jagdish Sahu, Nellie Nathan and other leaders paid tribute to Sardar Patel and Indira Gandhi.
