Five men booked for killing two persons at Navjeevan colony

Chhola Mandir police have booked five people for stabbing two persons to   death at Navjeevan Colony under Chhola Mandir police station area on Thursday;  accused demanded money for liquor and stabbed on refusal.

Two youths died while one escaped with injuries after five men attacked the  three while they were sitting in the area in the Police said three youths were brought in an injured condition and two of them  were declared dead. The deceased were as identified as Yogesh Lodhi and Karan Singh while the injured was identified as Manish.

Police were informed and on the receipt of the information a police team reached the spot and after preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post-mortem.

During the investigation, police found that Yogesh, Manish and Karan were  sitting when Rishi, Veeru, Chotu, Sumit and Akhilesh reached the spot and   started to demand Rs 1000 for liquor which the two refused after which the  accused started to abuse and attacked them with sharp edged weapons and  attacked the three multiple time over the body, two of the injured succumbed to death while one escaped. 

The police have registered a case under section 302 of the IPC and have started further investigation. The deceased and the accused had fight earlier also but at that time the fight was a verbal spate this time things turned ugly as the accused went irate and killed two.

Till the filing of the report the police were not able to trace the killers. Police told that the search for the miscreants has been intensified.
