A Flipkart delivery boy was attacked when unidentified miscreants attempted to loot cash from him at Panposh here in broad daylight on Monday.
The Flipkart delivery agent Pinku Suna had collected cash of over Rs 20 lakh from his office at around 1.30 pm and gone to deposit it in the Axis Bank.
While on his way to the bank, two bike-borne miscreants chased him and attacked him with a sharp weapon. Pinku suffered severe injuries in his ear.
However, the miscreants fled the spot after failing to loot the money. Some locals rushed to Pinku’s rescue and admitted him to the Rourkela Government Hospital.
