Chhattisgarh's Health and Family Welfare Department has issued the appointment orders of 70 specialist doctors and 6 MBBS doctors for different government hospitals across the state. The order from Rajendra Singh Gaur, Additional Secretary in the department, on Tuesday states that the appointment has been made for all Medical Colleges attached hospitals, DKS Super Speciality Hospital in Raipur, various district hospitals and mother-child hospitals in the state. The appointment has been made from the new batch of specialist doctors who appeared for final year examination held in June 2020 for Post-Graduation MD, MS and Diploma programme.
In addition, six graduate doctors (MMBS) have also been posted in different district hospitals.
Health and Family Welfare Minister T.S. Singh Deo said the department will now get a new bigger team to fight Covid-19 in the state.
