Hot and humid conditions witnessed in MP

The weather conditions have started to witness extreme hot and humid conditions in the State. Heat wave conditions are likely to be witnessed in east Madhya Pradesh in the next two days.

Warning of heat wave conditions has been issued for Khargone, Khandwa and Burhanpur districts in the next 24 hours.

Under the effect of cyclonic system which has moved over Bangldesh and a system over Kerala coastal region and Arabian sea the east Madhya Pradesh region would witness extreme hot conditions and heat wave conditions till May 24. The pre-monsoon activities are less likely to be witness in the current set of weather conditions.

The State Capital recorded day temperature at 43 degree Celsius on Friday. The night temperature was recorded at 26 degree Celsius. On Saturday temperatures would be recorded around same levels.

Nowgong recorded the highest day temperature of the state at 45.8 degree Celsius on Friday. Khargone recorded day temperature at 45.2 degree Celsius.

The night temperatures in west Madhya Pradesh have soared and most of places recorded temperatures above 25 degree Celsius. Shajapur recorded night temperature at 30.5 degree Celsius.

Day temperatures have soared in east Madhya Pradesh on Friday.

Most of the places recorded day temperature above 43 degree Celsius. In the past 24 hours Indore and Ujjain divisions witnessed significant increase in the temperatures.

Among the nearby regions of the state capital Raisen recorded day temperature at 43 degree Celsius and Hoshangabad recorded day temperature at 43.7 degree Celsius.
