20 pairs of Clone Special trains

Considering the huge demand for travel on specific routes, the Ministry of Railways has decided to run 20 pairs of Clone Special trains from September 21. These Clone trains will run on notified timings and will be fully reserved trains. The stoppages shall be limited to operational halts. The 19 pairs of Clone Special trains will run by utilizing Humsafar rakes. One pair 04251/04252 Lucknow-Delhi Clone special shall run as Jan Shatabdi Express. Fare of Humsafar rake will be charged as Humsafar trains and for Janshatabdi rake, fare will be charged as Janshatabdi Express. The ARP (Advanced Reservation Period) will be 10 days.These Clone Special trains will be in addition to special trains which are already in operation.

AIPC Coordination committee

With the approval of Dr Shashi Tharoor, Chairman All India Professional Congress Committee, State Regional Coordinator (East) Szarita Laitphlang released the list of Jharkhand State Active Secretary and Coordination Committee for AIPC Ranchi chapter. Jharkhand Pradesh Professional Congress Committee President Aditya Vikram Jaiswal informed that Khyati Munjal has been appointed as the State Secretary. At the AIPC Ranchi chapter Komal Kirti has been appointed as Secretary while Md Naved Alam as Coordinator- JPCC Engagement, Anil Singh as Coordinator- INC Frontal and Ashbah Javed and Janet Andrew as Coordinator- Social Media and Communication and Pankaj Sinha as Coordinator Finance.

ACB arrests Mukhiya in Garhwa

A team of Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), Palamu arrested the Panchayat head (Mukhiya) and a member of Panchayat Samiti of Baligarh panchayat under Ketar block in Bhawnathpur police station red-handed when he was accepting a bribe of ?5,000 from a villager for release amount of a  construction of culvert, on Tuesday. According to ACB DSP Ram Pukar Singh, Mukhiya Surendra Yadav allegedly demanded the bribe amount from Kameshwer Singh, 56 of village Baligarh  who had taken a contract for construction of a culvert at an estimated cost of 2,49, 300. He contacted the mukhiya for release of the last payment amount of Rs 62,000. As a bribe Mukhiya demanded Rs. 5000.

Jaideep appointed as Adviser of NMAA

Jaideep Sarkar, International Volleyball Instructor, was nominated as a member of the Advisory Board of National Martial Arts Academy (NMAA). He has been appointed for the year 2019-2023, informed BK Bharat, Chairman, NMAA. Notably, NMAA (Member of World Martial Arts Union, South Korea) is a constituent Academy wing of the National Martial Arts Committee-India an Apex organization of the World Martial Arts Games Committee of India. Many members of the eminent sports fraternity congratulated Jaideep for this important responsibility. Jaideep is the Executive Board Member of the Indian Pierre de Coubertin Association (IPCA) and National Council of Sports Science and Physical Education (NCSPE). He is also a City Officer (Bokaro) of India’s first IOC supported Global Active Partner and an Asian Silver Medal (AVC), recipient in Volleyball.

Flipkart to create 70,000 jobs

Flipkart will help generate over 70,000 direct and lakhs of indirect seasonal jobs as the country gears up for the upcoming festive season and Flipkart’s Big Billion Days (BBD). While creating direct job opportunities across Flipkart’s supply chain, that include delivery executives, pickers, packers and sorters, there will also be additional indirect jobs created at Flipkart’s seller partner locations and kiranas. This will be further supplemented by job creation in ancillary industries including vendor locations, and freight partners, as the entire ecosystem scales up for the festive season. The expansion and strengthening of the supply chain will help create a robust system enabling millions of new e-commerce users to shop online seamlessly as lakhs of ecosystem players gear up for the festive season.

ICICI Prudential Life’s new venture

ICICI Prudential Life Insurance has entered into a corporate agency agreement with NSDL Payments Bank, a subsidiary of NSDL, the largest depository of India. COVID 19 Call Centre

As the state is plagued by CoronaVirus, Bihar Foundation has set up a COVID 19 Call Center in collaboration with Nirog Street (leading Ayurveda healthcare organisation) to assist people of Bihar. People of Bihar can call at 9020774400 for queries related to COVID 19 answered by a team of doctors. This call center will also provide information and guidelines issued by the Health Department, Bihar related to COVID 19. It will also assist in medical consultation related to COVID 19. Moreover, one can also get Oxygen cylinders by calling this number, which will be made available through a network of volunteers working for Bihar Foundation.
