Arjun Munda joins sister’s last journey
Jamshedpur: Union Minister Arjun Munda attended the last journey of his sister Siban Solanki. Munda reached Jamshedpur from Ranchi by air. His sister died on Sunday at Tata Main Hospital.
Fifty-six-year-old Sibon Solanki had been ill for a long time. Her husband Samu Singh Solanki is employed at Tata Steel. The late Sibon Solanki left behind her entire family comprising two sons and two daughters. On receiving the news of her death, her family members and a large number of BJP members gathered at her residence. Former Chief Minister Raghubar Das and Senior leader Amarpreet Singh Kale also reached where they consoled the bereaved family.
Canara Bank holds Home Loan Utsav
Canara Bank, Bokaro organised a Home Loan Utsav at Anandam Pariwar on Sunday. Divisional manager of the bank Nilesh Kumar and his team successfully ran the camp. Econavi Buildtech Director OP Pathak and Pushpa Pathak welcomed Nilesh Kumar with a bouquet. With the help of Anandam team members Ashish Majumdar, Ashish Gope, Tara Gope, Aman Mishra and others the programme was successfully completed.
Sir J C Bose remembered
Several social workers including members of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad on Monday paid tribute to the great scientist of the country, Sir Jagdish Chandra Bose, on the occasion of his death anniversary at Giridih. On the occasion, Senate member Ranjit Kumar Rai said that the great scientist Jagdish Chandra Bose had a deep connection with Giridih and he had taken his last breath of his life in Giridih. In the house where Bose breathed his last, that vault is still present in that house, which has not been opened till date, added Rai. J C Bose's house has now been converted into a science building and the vault has been kept twice and the programme has been set by the district administration.
