Dr SK Singh passes away
Former professor of Anugrah Narayan Memorial Medical College, Gaya, Bihar, Dr. Surendra Kumar Singh breathed his last at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday at his residence in Hazaribag. Dr Singh (72), a renowned physician, had served in various medical colleges in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. Dr Singh’s father HD Singh was a famous Conservator of Forest in period of 1960s. Dr Singh will be cremated at Muktidham Ghat, Hazaribagh on Sunday.
Online Darshan at Pahari Mandir
In order to prevent spread of coronavirus during holy months of Shawan an important meeting was held with the representatives of Pahari Mandir Committee and the district administration under the chairmanship of Ranchi Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO), Lokesh Mishra on Saturday, it was decided unanimously that no religious event will be held at Pahari Mandir. It was decided during the meeting that no person other than the priest of the temple will be allowed to enter the temple. Only the priest of the temple will complete the work of worshiping Lord Shankar and Shringari pooja will be done by the priest like before. The temple will be closed for the devotees but they will be able to see Lord Shiva online from their home.
