The Chhattisgarh BJP on Saturday termed the first year of Modi 2.0 government a document of energetic success during which they said it took historical decisions and recorded many achievements.

National Co-Organization General Secretary Saudan Singh, state President Vikram Usendi, all BJP leaders in the state, office bearers and many workers witnessed the live interaction of BJP President J.P. Nadda through social media.

The state leaders said the decision to abrogate Section 370 and Section 35A of the Constitution established a national identity while opening the doors for unlimited development in Jammu, Kashmir Valley and the Ladakh-Leh region.

In a joint statement, they said the Triple Talaq Bill had opened the path to empower women.

The BJP leaders also thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah for paving the way for the construction of a grand Ram temple at Shree Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya.

Different programmes for the poor, farmers, the destitute and workers had been implemented by the Modi government respecting social equality, they said.

“The sudden attack of coronavirus pandemic was dealt with in a timely and effective way with strategic solutions and lockdown. Providing assistance through different means to all those affected by the lockdown along with providing relief through different schemes has reflected the sensitive leadership's determination to save the country from a massive crisis,” the leaders said.
