Anti-Terrorism Day held at Police Seva Bhawan

Bhubaneswar: May 21 is observed in the country as Anti-terrorism Day since the assassination of former PM Rajiv Gandhi on this day in 1992. This year, the day was observed at the Police Seva Bhawan here in a solemn atmosphere. Additional Commissioner of Police Sanjay Kumar Singh administered oaths to the cops and told them to remain vigilant against the nation’s divisive and disruptive forces. Prominent among others present was Traffic DCP Sagarika Nath.

NTPC Kaniha holds Anti-Terrorism Day

Bhubaneswar: The NTPC Talcher Kaniha observed the Anti-Terrorism Day on Thursday. To avoid public gathering in the light of Covid-19, the anti-terrorism pledge was solemnly taken by officials in their respective offices. NTPC Talcher Kaniha CGM Sudip Nag administered the oath via videoconferencing to senior officials and employees. Nag led the employees to pledge to oppose all forms of terrorism and to uphold and promote peace, social harmony among all fellow human beings. Banners were displayed at its administrative building to commemorate the day.

NTPC extends support to Kaniha Press Club

Talcher: The NTPC Talcher Kaniha held an interaction with local media representatives at the Kaniha Press Club on Thursday. KS Sarma of NTPC inquired about the well-being of all reporters and inquired regarding the awareness level in local areas about the use of masks, social distancing, and hand-washing. As the need of the hour and goodwill gesture Sarma handed over masks and sanitisers to the local journalists, who have been frontline warriors for combating Covid-19. Among others, DGM (HR) Jakir Khan, senior manager (HR) Rajendra Behera and station corporate communication representatives were present.
