The Police Families Welfare Association (PFWA) conducted an online solo singing and dance competition “PFWS Musical Star” in national Capital. The online auditions were held through Facebook page of PFWS. Pratima Shrivastava, the President, PFWS was also present during the occasion.
According to PFWS official the audition gained massive popularity and 324 contestants, including some talented police personnel turned out for the online auditions.
“On October 15, the long awaited live final round of PFWS Musical Star was held at the Auditorium, Delhi Police Public School, Safdarjung Enclave. A total 24 finalists contended in 8 different age groups for the title of PFWS Musical Star in each group ranging from kids to homemakers,” said the official.
“A total of 11 singers contended for the title of PFWS musical singing star in three groups and 13 dancers contended for the title of PFWS Musical Dance Star in five groups,” said the official.
“The competition was judged by a four members jury including Dr RashmiChetan, Bhawna Sharma and Mutum Nirmala Devi. All the finalists enthralled the jury and audience with their magnificent performances. In the close-counter musical battle eight contenders were declared as winners in eight different groups,” the official added.
