Police bust gang of 7 burglers

The Hanumanganj police have nabbed seven member gang including two women in Hanumanganj area and recovered valuables worth over Rs  11 lakh. The gang revealed 13 burglaries.

Police said that during the night, a man and  woman were found near Agrawal lodge and when their belongings were checked gold and silver jewlery were recovered. The two were identified as Shiv Jogi and Alina Khan and revealed that the valuables they are carrying is share of burglary at Shiv Shakti Nagar.

Later, they shed that Irfan Nange, Annu alias Anwar, Sameer Baccha and Saddu alias Shahid. The accused were arrested and when Irfan was quizzed he confessed two burglaries in the year 2019 in Hanumanganj area, one in the year 2020 in Nishatpura area along with his aide Annu and 10 in Chhola Mandir area.

He revealed that jewelry stolen from Shiv Shakti Nagar was with his wife Najma at his Qazi camp house. The jewelry was sold to Rehman of Qazi camp. Shahid was nabbed and a country made pistol was recovered from his possession.

In the investigation Rehan who is Irfan's son was also arrested as he was involved in the burglaries and disposal of valuables. The nabbed miscreants have been booked by different police stations of the city for robbery and other crimes.

Police recovered three LED TV sets, a scooter and a motorbike which was used in the crimes.During the investigation police found that Irfan has been booked for 54 crimes,  Rehman has been booked for 4, Shahid for 6 crimes.
