Seven personnel of the Chhattisgarh Police will be felicitated with Shaurya Padak on the state's foundation day on November 1, it was announced on Thursday.
These men will be felicitated for extraordinary service, Home Minister Tamradhwaj Sahu said in a press release.
The Minister has greeted all the personnel selected for the prestigious police award. Getting an award for maintaining law and order and doing public service is a matter of pride, he said, adding the honour will inspire others.
Those selected for the award are Inspector Mohsin Khan (Jashpur), Sub-Inspector Jitendera Esaiya (Sukma), Assistant Sub-Inspector Ganesh Karmarka (Bijapur), Head Constable Ramlal Kashyap (Dantewada), Senior Constable Kutumath Rao (Dantewada), Constable Deva Anbam Rao (Bijapur) and Constable Gopi Istam (Dantewada).
They will be felicitated by Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel at his official residence in Raipur, the press release said.
