The stage is set for the two-day Young Leaders Conclave 2020 to be held to mark the 157th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda in Dehradun from today.
Youth and intellectuals from across the state and nation will be attending this two-day conclave being organised on the directions of the chief minister Trivendra Singh Rawat. This conclave is being held with focus on three points- service, communication and commitment.
According to official sources, a total of 375 youth from various noted educational institutions from across Uttarakhand and India will be participating in this two-day conclave.
The participants will deliberate on issues important also from the view point of development in Uttarakhand. These issues will include mainly human resource development, health, information technology, infrastructure and industry. The Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat will inaugurate the two-day Young Leaders Conclave on Saturday. After the inaugural session, three parallel sessions will be held under subject experts on the first day of the conclave. On the second and concluding day of the conclave, the chief minister will interact with the young participants.
A pledge will also be taken on the concluding day to work towards achieving excellence in the state and nation and using experience for this purpose.
According to state government officials, the idea behind organising the Young Leaders Conclave is communicate with youth and arriving at a conclusion based on the concrete and important inputs received during the event.
The participant adjudged to have the most proactive vision for the future and upliftment of the state will also be felicitated with the title of Nitishri on the occasion.
